We must say from the outset that before you start any diet, do consult with your doctor and, or, a medical professional. Everyone is different and may have health conditions. Therefore, we'll all react differently to different plans, so it's important to have that chat before embarking on anything significant. That said, we've picked out the following because they are broad, open to everyone, and not overly expensive to maintain for long periods, which is essential if you have a long term goal.

Keto Diet

In a nutshell, a keto diet plan is about getting your body to reach a metabolic state called ketosis which is where fat is burned from your body, for energy. It involves eating more proteins and vegetables and is an effective way of burning fat. Meat, cheese, and vegetables that grow above the ground are just three food types that make up a Keto diet.

People who have diabeteshigh blood pressure, and breastfeed should NOT do a ketogenic diet. For those that are not in those categories, and want to start this diet, its health benefits can be positive over time, as long as foods such as pasta, bread, and rice are avoided.
